Totally agree – it’s far from miserable! I think beginning of Autumn is also a great time to go. Less crowds than summer, and still warm enough early October. You can’t go wrong with Alsace either – we were in that region for the Christmas markets and it’s beautiful! Enjoy xx

I love exploring the neighborhood bakeries and cafes in the winter. (I’m truly convinced that the stories about Paris being miserable in the winter are all lies.) We booked tickets for this year, but headed to the Alsace at the last minute. You’re making me wish we had just stayed in Paris!
